upamaa alankaara part VII (उपमानलुप्ता and वाचकोपमानलुप्ता)( लुप्तोपमा upamaa with elision of ऊपमान or वाचक and ऊपमान)

द्विरदसमालसगमनं सुरगिरिगुरुधैर्यमखिलभयशमनं|
हरिमीडे रिपुदमनं द्विरसनगिरिसदनमिन्दिराकमनम्||

here the द्विरदसमालसगमनं is an example of उपमानलुप्ता. here there is actually no उपमान (The one who is moving with such a leisurely walk as an elephant - without actually referring who the person in question is).
The second pada सुरगिरिगुरुधैर्यम् is an example of वाचकोपमानलुप्ता - here there are no ऊपमान or वाचक (the person who is like suragiri in terms of dhairyam).
